He was appointed into office of National Security Authority Director by National Council of the Slovak Republic on June 1, 2012.
Jozef Magala graduated from Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava with degree in Civil Engineering. His postgraduate studies were focused on Statics, Mathematics, and Information Technologies.
National Security Authority is controlled by following Parliamentary Committees: Special Parliamentary Control Committee for the Control of NSA Activities and Parliamentary Committee for the Review of NSA Decisions.
